Tri-Running is Acadiana's first and best running specialty shoe store. Since their establishment opened, over a decade ago, their focus continues to be on providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service. They offer the best brands of running shoes, technical running apparel, and accessories to meet customers's comfort needs.
The homepage content was not inviting for new visitors and the imagery that was presented did not clearly show the services that Tri-Running offered to their customers. The website did not direct visitors to other internal pages which made it very singular and could increase site bounces. With more to offer than the current website portrayed, customers did not understand how friendly and community focused the business was.
Create a more inviting, energetic, and fun identity that encouraged site visitors to stay and explore the Tri-Running website. An online store with best sellers and shopping categories was added to the new design in order to increase profits for Tri-Running. Social media and blogging was also an asset to the redesign since this would serve as a communication method for Tri-Running and their fan base.
I created rough wireframes to quickly sketch out possible solutions for the Tri-Running website. I focused on arranging buttons and content in order to keep the user browsing the website and engaged with the website. Each page includes buttons that guide the users to other internal pages. This wireframe shows a possibility for the homepage.
Style tiles, as illustrated here, are a quick method to configure different typeface choices and color patterns. This quick way of working allows for a faster output of design choices before creating entire mock ups or beginning any coding.
